Q: Does the TO-2400 come with cables?

A: No. You can purchase these locally for far less that it would cost for us to supply them. You will need an additional power cable for your PC, a straight - through DB9F - DB9M serial cable, and an RJ-11 telephone cable (only if you are using the ring counter feature).

Q: I don't have any available serial ports on my PC.  Can I use a USB converter with the TImeOut 2400?

A: The TimeOut 2400 works fine with a Belken USB-Serial Port Converter.

Q: My PC won't reboot after power is interrupted. (ATX power supply)

A: You need to find the BIOS settings for "on resumption of AC power," and change setting to "ALWAYS REBOOT" (not "NEVER REBOOT" or "RETURN TO PREVIOUS STATE"). If you do not have these settings available in your BIOS, you must change your motherboard to one that does.

Q: What is your volume discount structure?

A: Our discounts are based on the quantity purchased, and are quoted at the time of the order. One example is a unit price of $75 for a purchase order of 100 or more units to be delivered in lots of 20 within a six-month period. Give us a call for other quotes.

Q: Does the TO-2400 work with Linux?

A: It will work just fine with Linux.  Call us for a copy of the Linux beta software.

Q: Does the TO-2400 work in my country (Scotland, England, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Israel, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, Austria, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Madagascar, Korea, Taiwan, Greece...)

A: Yes. The TO-2400U works anywhere in the world.

Q: My TO-2400 appears to be malfunctioning. What should I do?

A: We will repair or replace any TO-2400 at no charge for a period of 3 years following purchase. Ship the unit(s) to us (prepaid) and you will receive an operating unit within 2 weeks. But before you do, give us a call (or fax or email) and maybe we can fix the problem that way. The TO-2400 is extremely rugged and reliable.

Q: How does it work? What does it do?

A: Simply put, the TO-2400 monitors your kiosk (or any unattended PC, server, or modem) at just about any frequency you choose to make sure it is still responding. If the TO-2400 doesn't receive the response it's expecting it can reboot your machine automatically... saving YOU a service call.

Q: What is the delivery time?

A: Your delivery time will be quoted when we receive your order and can vary from stock to 8 weeks. When we are filling orders from stock, orders received by 3 p.m. Central Time can be delivered tomorrow with overnight shipping.

Q: What is the availability?

Q: How quickly can I get one?

A: If we receive your order by 3 p.m. Central Time, you can get one as quickly as tomorrow using overnight shipping.

Q: How much is shipping to my country (Hong Kong, Germany, etc...)

A: Shipping varies depending on the quantity ordered and type of delivery you request (next day, etc...). We will quote you your shipping costs once we receive your order.

Q: Do you take credit cards?

A: Yes. You can send your credit card information (VISA/MasterCard only) via e-mail, FAX, telephone, or regular mail. This is not a secure site.
